What types of pets do you groom?

Grooming by Kim provides professional grooming for both dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and coat types. They accommodate everything from small lap dogs to larger breeds and long- or short-haired cats.

What grooming services do you offer?

Services include: Haircuts tailored to breed standards or owner preferences. Bathing and brushing to clean and detangle coats. Nail trimming and paw care. De-shedding treatments to reduce loose fur and maintain coat health. Specialized care for anxious, elderly, or aggressive pets. Optional curbside pick-up and drop-off for convenience. Additional private grooming sessions for pets that require one-on-one attention.

Are you certified or trained?

Yes. Grooming by Kim is a certified pet groomer with training in professional pet care. Additionally, certifications in Pet CPR and First Aid ensure your pet’s safety during grooming sessions.

How do you handle anxious or aggressive pets?

The grooming environment is calm and safe. Staff members are trained in gentle handling techniques, ensuring pets that are nervous, older, or difficult to manage feel secure. One-on-one attention and private appointments help reduce stress during grooming.

Can I stay with my pet during grooming?

Policies may vary depending on the pet’s comfort level and the type of grooming service. You are encouraged to discuss your preferences when booking. Private or one-on-one sessions may allow closer supervision for pets that need extra reassurance.
